Day 1:
7pm –Our tour guide will come to pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and transfer you to Hanoi Railway station to catch the night train to Lao Cai (overnight on train, in 4 berths sharing cabin, soft sleeper and with air-conditioning) You arrive in Lao Cai city between 5:30 and 6:00am.
Day 2 :
The train arrives at about 6:00 am. Look for the sign with your name on it when you exit the train station, as our guide will be waiting for you to arrive. Enjoy a morning drive through the clouds by car/van to Sapa Town, about 1.5 hours by road up the mountain. When you arrive in Sapa you will be taken to a local restaurant for a morning shower, breakfast, and a short rest and to prepare for your inspiring trek. After lunch, our guide takes you to visit two Black H’mong villages (Cat Cat Village) and a waterfall. There, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. After your afternoon trek, it’s back to Sa Pa for dinner, then in the evening, you’re free to do as you wish, exploring the town of Sapa. Overnight in your Sapa hotel.
Day 3:
Rise early in the morning, enjoy breakfast, then check out of your hotel room, your bags will be stored in the hotel luggage storage room. You begin the day at 9am, with your guide, on an easy downhill walk to visit three different villages, and meet Black H’Mong , Dzay and Red Dzao people. We guide you along waterfalls, rice fields and a small river in a lush valley with sweeping landscapes. This tour has the option of lunch in a minority home or a packed lunch from the hotel, consumed in a picturesque location. You will board your waiting vehicle after visiting the last village, arriving back at your hotel for a shower and a meal. Our transport will pick you up at the hotel and move you down the mountain, for the night train back to Hanoi (at 4:30pm or 6:00pm), depending on your train time and your wishes. Arrive at Lao Cai train station and take the night train back to Hanoi.
Day 4 :
You return to Hanoi from Sapa early, at around 5am, catch a taxi back to your hotel on your own.
